How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your kordi AVE account directly from the app:
- Open the kordi AVE app
- Tap your profile icon (top right of any tab)
- Go to Privacy & Security
- Tap Delete Account
- Review the information and type DELETE to confirm
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
30-Day Recovery Period
After requesting deletion, your account is deactivated immediately. You have 30 days to change your mind by simply signing back in. After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
Data That Is Permanently Deleted
The following data is permanently removed after the 30-day recovery period:
- Your profile and personal information
- All goals and progress history
- Event history and RSVPs
- Your kordi points balance
- Group and team memberships
- Messages and conversations
- Guide relationships and sessions
Request Data Deletion Without Deleting Your Account
If you want to delete specific data without removing your entire account, email [email protected] with details of the data you want removed. We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with applicable privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR).
Data Retained After Deletion
After account deletion, we may retain the following for legal and safety purposes:
- Transaction records for up to 7 years (tax/accounting compliance)
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics that cannot identify you
- Content reported for safety violations as required by law
